Gli Houstones sono una band alternative rock nata nel 2012 e composta da Saul Savarino (voce, chitarra), Joel Pfister (batteria), Maurizio Cuomo (basso) e Serena Maggini (tastiere e voce) con base in Svizzera.
La band ha due album, pubblicati nel 2016 e nel 2019 da Old Bicycle Records in musicassetta e da DreaminGorilla in CD, al quale è seguito un tour di concerti (tra i più importanti si ricorda il live al Foce di Lugano e lo showcase allo Studio di 2 di Rete Tre).
Hanno collaborato con Marco Bonanomi (Ministri, Firewater, The Sidh) nel ruolo di co-produttore per il primo e il secondo disco, mentre nel 2021 iniziano a lavorare con il leggendario Marco Fasolo (Verdena, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, I hate my Village, Jennifer Gentle) come produttore del disco edito da Dotto, Entes Anomicos e Soppressa Records.
